Thank you for your interest in donating books to Libros Schmibros Lending Library.
Please follow these guidelines.
Books We Generally Accept:
books about Los Angeles or by L.A. authors
high-school or college syllabus novels
Spanish-language books
first editions or advance reading copies
art books
graphic novels
children’s books (good condition)
Spanish-English dictionaries
We do not accept magazines, manuals, textbooks, encyclopedias, or travel guides.

Now that you know what kinds of books we generally accept, kindly send us a list of books you want to donate and let us know when you’d like to drop them off. We will get back to you as soon as we can, to schedule an appointment during business hours.
Thank you for understanding that we cannot accept books without prior arrangement, due to staffing considerations. Contact us if you have any questions.

Tax Donation:
Your donations are tax deductible. You will receive a form upon donating books in person during business hours.
Directions:
We accept donations only during our business hours, Wednesday through Sunday from 12pm to 6pm.
Our Library Assistants will be on hand to answer any questions and do some heavy lifting!
To donate your books, please organize them in boxes or bags.
We are located in the Boyle Hotel at the northwest corner of First Street and Boyle Avenue.
It is a busy intersection so please coordinate your donation via phone.
